Hold privacy policy

Hold is a sixty-second pause between an urge and a feed. It is built to know as little as possible about you.

What is stored

• Everything Hold records (when you held, how strong the pull felt before and after, whether you put the phone down or went ahead, your setup choices) stays on your device. There is no account and no server that receives it.
• If you share a week grid or a pact link, the text you share contains only the numbers you see on screen. Nothing is uploaded by Hold.

What Hold does not do

• No sign up, no email, no contacts, no location, no notifications.
• No advertising, no tracking, no analytics SDKs, no selling of data.
• Hold cannot see which apps you open. The optional Shortcuts automation runs on your phone, under your control.

Purchases

The optional Hold Complete unlock is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipts so the unlock can be restored on your devices. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Children

Hold is not directed at children under 13.
